Path: SPRO - SAP Reference IMG - Financial Accounting - General Ledger Accounting - GL Accounts - Master Data - Preparations - Define Retained Earnings Account (Transaction code is OB53)
Select menu path
Step 1) Give Chart of Accounts MML
Press enter
Step 2) Give P & L Statement type 'X'
Select account from the drop down menu (surplus in P & L account)
Step 3) Select save button
press enter to save in the request
