Path: SPRO - Select SAP reference IMG - Financial Accounting - Asset Accounting - Master Data - Screen Layout - Define Screen Layout for Asset Master Data

In the menu path select

Step 1) Double click on Define Screen Layout for Asset Master Data

Step 2) Select Layout MML1 (Land)
Double click on Logical field groups folder

Step 3) Select 2 (Posting information)
Double click on Field group rules folder

Step 4) Capitalization date make it required entry field
Select main no. check box
Select sub no. check box
Select copy check box
Save

We receive a message below

Step 5) Select back arrow
Select 3 (Time-dependent data)
Select Field group rules folder

Step 6) Business area make it required entry
Cost center make it optional entry
Select main no. check box
Select sub no. check box
Save

We receive a message below

Step 7) Select the back arrow twice
The same procedure is to be followed for layout:
MML2 (Buildings)
MML3 (Plant and Machinery)
MML4 (Furniture and Fixtures)
MML5 (Vehicles)
MML6 (Capital Work In Progress)
